How am I
supposed to feel
when you get angry?

Is it wrong
to feel like a
trapped thing?

Something that
hides and cries
and flinches?

Am I supposed
to want to run
and lock my door?

Is the fear
supposed to shine
in my eyes?

Expecting every
movement to
make impact?

How am I
supposed to feel
when I can't run?

All I feel is
scared and alone
and empty.

Have you even seen
through the red
"blackout" that you blame?

Have you noticed
the fear, the tears
have you noticed?

Or do you still
think that
everything's alright?

Have you noticed?
